Mattie's drums and the bump!
With a new baby coming we must have been made to get Mattie a full drum set for Christmas. What were we thinking. He's actually picking it up pretty well. He has some DVDs that he's learning from and as we are finding out the web is an awesome source of free information. We will be posting some pics and hopefully some video's shortly as we have now transformed our bonus room into a recording studio. We have Mattie on the drums/guitar/vocals, Markey B on the Guitar/Keyboard/vocals and Mezza on the keyboard/vocals. It's all kitted out, from the mics to the monitors to the fog machine. Yes you heard right we even have a fog machine, strobe lights and other multi color lights to boot. When do we stuff we don't do it by halves. We even have some recording software so we will have to see what we can do with that.
That's it for now, like I say hopefully we can get some more pics or video's on here. Mattie is keen too. Take it easy folks. Mezza out!
Update from Sunny NC

In between Christmas and New Years we decided to head south to get some of that winter warmth so we took the FunFinder down to Orlando,Florida. 600 miles and 12 hours later we arrived at our RV site called Lake Magic. Unfortunately for us Florida was experiencing one of their coldest winters in many years so although it was slightly warmer then NC it wasn't warmer by much. (The forecast definitely didn't say that when we checked the week before.) Still we didn't let that spoil our fun. We went to Universal Studio's and Islands of Adventure where Mark and Matt rode the scariest tallest rides they could. Being pregnant I couldn't ride them but I'm not much for the roller coasters anyway. This time I had a genuine excuse not to go on. The dogs enjoyed hanging out on the FunFinder while we were out and then when we were back we took them for long walks. Here's some pics of Lucy and Sandie chilling in the RV.

After we exhausted the theme parks we decided to head a bit further south and realized we couldn't trust the forecasts anymore, as our scheduled warm beach day in West Palm Beach Florida turned out to be rainy. The RV park where we stayed in West Palm beach was actually pretty kewl. It was behind a wild life park so you could hear the animals especially the lions first thing in the morning. They sounded scarier than they looked as we took one of the days to wander round there. Of course they were behind two sets of fences and you couldn't get near them with a barge pole. Here's a nice photo of one of the lions.
How scary does he look? Moving on, here's a photo we just couldn't resist taking, well I couldn't resist it anyway.

It was cold when we explored the rest of the Wild Life park but we found some fun pictures we could take and who can resist taking pictures with holes cut out for your head. So here's some to look at.

Don't let this picture fool you, I'm a savage dog, honest.
