So what else. Well Markey and I went to Tampa in Florida for the weekend at the start of the month for a conference for work. We were only gone for 4 days but it was pretty fun, apart from the whole working thing. The weather down there was great and I even got my first sunburn of the year. Mattie stayed with some Friends and had just a good of a time.
Last weekend I got sun burnt again back here in North Carolina. We went to watch Mattie play football and as it was an afternoon game I got burnt. The weather right now is pretty good. The only problem is my allergies or should I say hay fever. It's killing me. I think North Carolina is the allergy capital of the US. I'm taking tablets for it but this year is so bad that they are not working. The pollen is so bad our front porch is literally green from all the pollen. It's crazy. Still there is not much I can do. When I took the test to see what I was actually allergic too it turns out I'm allergic to everything apart form dogs and mold. That's good to know I suppose.
So while Mattie and I are here in Sunny NC, where is Markey B you ask? Well he is in Taiwan for today, he has been there for a week. Tomorrow he flies to Singapore where he will be there for a week and then after that I think he goes to Korea but I could be wrong. I know he is going somewhere else for a week before coming home. It's safe to say Mattie and I do miss him while he is away.
The Durham Bulls baseball season has started again. We went to opening night a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely freezing. It was pretty fun but it was very, very, very cold and it was packed. The coaching staff this year has changed which is a shame as we actually got to know the old coach last year. We used to have a beer with him at good old Sunset Grill and in the course of drinking we managed to get some comp tickers for some games. But all that has changed with the new staff. Shame really :-( It's pretty fun though to go to a game. They do of course serve beer at the game which is about $5. That's not too bad. We are hoping to go again in a couple of weeks when Mark gets back. It's good for the kids too as they have activities there for them to do as the game can be a little long (Probably 2 - 3 hours). They have a huge inflatable slide, a mini putting green and a baseball pitching machine that records how fast you can throw the baseball. If you guess how fast you can throw the ball then you can win a prize.
Boating season will also be starting soon. We are and we aren't looking forward to it. We are because it's pretty fun hanging out on the lake. It's in the middle of the city but you wouldn't think it when you are there as it's pretty quite. We aren't because the boat is in the boat shop at the moment and for us to use it we Will have to pay to get it back. The seats etc have recently been reupholstered and we have had a cover made for it along with fixing the distributor it's going to cost us a pretty penny. For hours of summer fun I'm sure it will be worth it though.

Talking of summer fun we have finally booked our condos for Hawaii. I'm looking forward to that in June and I definitely will be taking lots of Photo's then!
