Well the last two weeks have been pretty busy. Not only with work but it was my birthday as well (Happy birthday me.) Thanks to all who sent cards and shame on you if you didn't :-) Any way we went to our first Ice Hockey game, where the Carolina Hurricanes beat the Florida Panthers. For our first game it was really good. I think we will be going again.
March madness has started or to be honest is actually close to being finished. What is this I hear you Brits saying? It college basketball and the NCAA to be exact, the national tournament to see who's the best college basketball team in the whole of the US. I personally just think it's another excuse to drink beer as you have to drink a beer watching the game and its even better on our new 61 inch DLP HD TV. The pictures so good that you think the game is being played right in your front room.
Of course when talking of HD pictures on the TV I can't not mention the new PS3 with the Blu-ray disc player. It truly is HD when watching Blu-ray. You'll have to come over and watch it to find our for yourself.
Mattie is preparing for his next test in Tai Kwon Do but for today he and Markey are at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol TN to watch the Nextel Cup Food City 500 race where they are debuting the Nascar "Car of tomorrow" It should be fun.
The other news worthy info is that Markey and I joined a gym, yes a gym! I had my session with the personal trainer last Thursday and my muscles are so sore today it hurts to type let alone walk. Sneezing is absolute agony for my stomach. I guess I'm really, really unfit. I knew it but I didn't think it was going to be that bad. Here's to joining the fight to get fit. We'll see just exactly how long it lasts this time shall we?
For now I'm going to leave you with these words of wisdom “There are hundreds of languages in the world, but a smile speaks them all.” Take it easy people, Mezza out!!

Thought I'd get some photo's on here, more to follow soon...
There aren't many of us two together as we are usually taking the pictures so I thought I would put this one on first. It might not be the best but what the heck hey. It was taken the first time we went to watch a college American Football game and as it turns out the only time we went to a game. I will put some more photo's on. It'll take some time to sort the photo's out but what's the hurry. But for now, here's Mattie keeping it real! Mezza Out!
