Howdy y'all, how's it going?

Hey Folks, I've added some new web page links that take you to some video web sites kinda like "You Tube". There is a warning though, parental guidance is advised as there could be access to some risque videos. Most of them are pretty fun though. Some you will know and hopefully some you won't. You should check them out. So how are things going? The weathers warmed up a bit since my last blog. And March 11th we will be starting D.S.T. Yes the US goverment decided to bring it forward to save energy costs or so I heard. I don't mind though as it makes the evenings lighter for longer. It means that when we get the boat back from the shop (Yes it in the shop!)we can go out and spend the weekends on the lake. One kewl thing we did do this weekend was indoor go karting. We found a place over in Garner which is a 40min drive from us to go and race around a track for 8 minutes at a time. Mattie even got to race a kart by himself so we will definatley be going back. Its great fun and something to do if you want to spend time in Garner, NC. They even have a bar, you know we like that. Well I'll say good bye. Take it easy all y'all, Mezza OUT!

I'm liking this blogging,

Hey folks I'm quite liking this blogging thing. I do need to get some more photo's on here but being able to write what I want is pretty good. I have some good ideas about what to put on here in the future. As for now I'm just going to tell you how things have been here in N.C. Freezing pretty much describes it. We haven't been up to much as it's too cold to do anything. I have edited some pictures this week that have made me chuckle and I will definitely get them up here. Here's one for starters

If anyone has any funny jokes let me know and I'll put them up here too. Right now my words of wisdom that I will leave you with are:

" Whenever you hit rock bottom you should smile, because the only other way to go is up!"

So Check this out. We would never have had this were we still in blighty. We are 2 1/2 hours from the coast but we mainly go to the lake which is about 20 mins away from us. They say the 2 best days in a boat owners life are when you buy the boat and when you sell it! I can see where they come from. This thing eats money. It's been good though we have enjoyed it and will continue to enjoy it until we sell it. Who knows when that will be.

My first blog!

Well here I am in cyber space with my first blog. I' don't really know what to say and for me that's a first. I thought I would set this up as a place where I can put stuff for my family and friends to see as I'm pretty bad about sending them photo's and the like. Then again they are pretty bad about that too. It's going to take me a while to get this up and running but hopefully I will get it sorted and there'll be some good stuff here. Can't promise anything but I'll definitely try. Keep looking y'all (Yup that's the south coming out, I said I wasn't in Blighty anymore) as you don't know what'll be here. Catch you l8rzzz, Mezza out!
